Q: What is the Small Business Treasure Chest?
businessitonline is an online small business software service. Instead of buying pre-packaged software products, inserting the CD ROM, running the installation program, hiring IT support personnel to fix problems, paying again for upgrades, remembering to back up your data and worrying how your entire team can share important information, you can now use our on-demand service without any of these hassles and for a fraction of the cost. We currently have three modules available, including cash flow (a cash flow management software service for small businesses), contacts (contact management software) and calendar (scheduling software). You can select which of the modules you would like to use.
Q: What are the benefits of using the Small Business Treasure Chest?
It's affordable, it's convenient, it's secure and it's accessible.
Affordability. With online software you eradicate the need for costly individual software licences, complex server solutions and IT maintenance. Your software is also upgraded for free automatically!
Convenience. No need for CD ROMs, installation programs, configuration or support packages. Just log in and use the software when you need it.
Security. Your data is automatically backed up so you don't need to worry about local hardware crashes or software corruption.
Accessibility. 24 / 7 access to your business information from any computer in the world that's on the internet. If you're online, you're in business.
Q: Can I try out the system before I buy?
Yes. Register for a free trial and you can have 30 days of full access to the modules you select. During the free trial, you will only be granted access for one user but if you should choose to subscribe, you can select the number of users that require access and the data you have entered during the free trial will be retained for a period of 7 days after expiry of the trial to give you plenty of time to join up.
Q: Must I pay monthly?
No. Subscription grants you a 6 month access period. Towards the end of each 6 month subscription period you will be reminded about subscription renewal.
Q: What is the refund and cancellation policy?
Since we offer a realtime service we cannot offer refunds and you will not be able to cancel your order after we have taken payment. Take care to confirm your subscription details on the subscription confirmation page when you are making payment.
Q: Must I have a broadband internet connection to use the system?
No. The system can be accessed via a dial-up connection, but as with all websites, response times will be much slower than they would be via broadband. We would recommend broadband access where possible.
Q: Which browser should I use to access the system?
The system works well on two of the most popular browsers: Internet Explorer (version 6 and above) and Mozilla Firefox (version 1.0.3 and above). It is highly recommended that you use one of these browsers to access the system.
Q: Can multiple users access the system?
Yes. One primary user will be granted full access to the system and will be able to grant and revoke access to all other secondary users. The primary user will have the flexibility to grant secondary user access by module.
Q: Do I need to install Adobe Reader software to use the system?
No. However, some system features do require Adobe Reader to be installed on your local computer (e.g. printer friendly buttons). We do recommend that you visit www.adobe.com and download free Adobe Reader software to get the most out of the businessitonline system.
Q: What type of business would benefit from the Micro Business Membership Option?
The cash flow management software service is a great way for small businesses to keep track of cash flowing in and out of their business. This solution enables data to be easily shared between business partners. Start up and small businesses with up to 20 staff that want to keep a very close eye on their cash flow would benefit most.
Q: What type of business would benefit from the Small Business Membership Option?
The contact management software service would suit any business or project team that needs a convenient and flexible method of accessing and sharing business contact information. If your personnel are regularly on the move or you have a team of people that require shared access to a central contact management software service, the contacts module is a much more affordable and beneficial option than trying to implement server-based pre-packaged software on your local office network.
